Program Overview
The Rutgers Advanced Leadership Development Program (RALDP) is an experiential, training program where participants build leadership skills that enable them to enhance their strengths, identify their weaknesses, maximize their personal management style, and increase their professional opportunities. This learning experience allows managers to focus on exploring and planning long-term development solutions. Our experienced instructors assess participants on key areas that are crucial to managerial success, such as:

  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Management Style
  • Behavioral Style
  • Conflict Resolution Style

This program also shows participants how to build a personal development action plan to increase their overall workplace effectiveness.

Who Should Attend?
This program is for managers who need to work with others to achieve high-impact business results. Managers who want to become more self-aware and improve their interactions with all members in the organization will benefit from this learning experience. It will help managers enhance their ability to communicate, inspire, and motivate, while allowing them to evaluate their strengths and weaknesses effectively managing others.

Skills You Will Acquire
The goal of RALDP is to help you take control of your career. Using a variety of assessment tools and feedback from experts, participants will discover how to more effectively influence and lead others while learning how to avoid the pitfalls and common mistakes made by managers. The number one reason managers fail is their inability to effectively communicate and interact with others. To ensure success, leaders must build effective, highly motivated teams that deliver results. With the help of this course, managers can learn to lead and inspire their subordinates as well as successfully manage complex relationships with their supervisors and peers. The RALDP is unique and personalized. Each participant receives ongoing individualized assessments, feedback from supervisors, peers, and subordinates, managerial career advice, and a personal development plan.
