Twelve 3-hour modules. Must attend a minimum of
10 sessions to earn a certificate.

Participant Profile:
Scientists and business professionals in Biotech and Pharma seeking to start a new venture either within their organization or as a new start-up entity.

Organizational leaders with an interest in BioPharma Entrepreneurship/ Intrapreneurship including: CEO’s, Managing Directors, Chief Technology Officers, Directors of Knowledge and Technology Development Officers, Directors of Research and Technology, Scientists, Venture Managers, Managers of New Product Development, Heads of Innovations and Enterprise Creation.

Credit Available:
3 graduate-level credit waiver upon passing an optional final exam. Credits apply to applicants meeting entrance requirements to the MBA program at Rutgers Business School.

Program Overview
While the pharmaceutical industry is comprised of large, highly complex organizations, an opportunity exists for entrepreneurial individuals and managers to start small, new entities focused on niche markets within the industry. The Rutgers Mini-MBA™: BioPharma Entrepreneurship is designed to help individuals and organizations navigate through the entire venture creation process, from idea generation to building viable BioPharma businesses. Participants will also enjoy access to the Rutgers Entrepreneurship community, including the Rutgers IP transfer process.

This program is offered both for individuals through
Open Enrollment classes and for organizations through
Custom Programs.
